Marie is a teenager who is upset that her brother left her behind to deal with their strict father. Jackson gets a chance to speak with his younger sister, Marie. The attraction they felt as teens is still there. Jackson reconnects with LizBeth who may be able to help him identify the victim in his cold case. Twelve years later, Detective Jackson Lapp returns to solve a cold case. He left behind his sister and his close friend, LizBeth Troyer.
